About the word count math: I’m aware the numbers I listed don’t add up to 11,321. As I have been going through and writing, I’ve removed some words or rewritten a few sections which affects the overall wordcount. I have been keeping track of how much I write daily and then I’ve taken the total word count from what is in my manuscript currently. I hope that makes sense!
