Now that the TI-99/4A is finally working, we can try to get a color video signal out of it. Because it's the PAL version and outputs component video, it's not very straightforward. I end up resorting to a small, custom PCB that converts that video signal to RGB, and adapting the TI99's video connector to work with a DIN 6 cable to SCART. The result: Wonderfully vibrant RGB color. Finally!
Incidentally, this same technique can be applied to other systems that use the same VDP like the Colecovision and MSX among others.
