Thank you so much for watching! My brother and I traveled across Central Asia in October 2019. Read about locations and trip details below:
Location: Samarkand, Uzbekistan
Landmark: Registan Square
The three madrasahs of the Registan are: the Ulugh Beg Madrasah (1417–1420), the Tilya-Kori Madrasah (1646–1660) and the Sher-Dor Madrasah (1619–1636). Madrasah is an Arabic term meaning school.
"The famous Registan Square Uzbekistan, was the heart of the Timurid dynasty built by the Turkic-Mongolian leader, Timur (Tamerlane). The Ulugbke Madrasah is a religious studies mosque. This is one of the most monumental buildings in Uzbekistan."
