We first entertained the idea of constructing an off-grid cabin while completing our initial home renovation in 2014. However, amidst subsequent life changes, that dream was temporarily set aside. During the pandemic, a yearning for the outdoors rekindled within us, prompting us to resume our pursuit for land but in a different country than initially envisioned.
