I have been using Velvia 50 for pretty much 30 years now. Its been on the market since 1990. It pretty much killed Kodachrome in the day. I still use it today on special shoots, but I dont use it as much because of its availability issues and cost these days. Luckily I have a bit in my film freezer. But I love the look from this film, as it gives me those saturated colors I love so much. Its not perfect, as some colors like greens come off as muddy. And you can't use it for people/portrait pictures. This film is very fine grained and very sharp. They use this film to test lenses back in the day. Take a look at some of the samples I show in this video. Most are from 35mm, and a few 120 and 4x5.
