Nature is so inspiring to artists of all mediums. When you live in a stunningly gorgeous area, it makes complete sense that there are many art galleries, local art and art events around the city. Colorado Springs and our surrounding area are no exception.

The city is sprinkled with art in the form of murals, statues, and other unique mediums. Our city values and shares these beautiful assets throughout shopping centers, universities, our downtown areas, coffee shops, parks, hotels, many gathering spaces. The city even does weekly art walks and has a shuttle bus that can take you throughout the city on our first Friday Art walks. During the year 2021 that was suspended due to COVID-19, however is expected to start back up in April 2022.

If you are planning a visit to the Colorado Springs area and you are an artist you will have so much to explore. You can find art all around the city. Sprinkled throughout Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, and Monument areas you will find many local artists galleries.

The beautiful Historic Broadmoor Hotel offers a large art gallery, many older pieces from the early to late 1800’s oil painting and bronze art pieces throughout their historic hotel. A must-see if you are visiting Colorado Springs.

all offer fun group painting events for team building events and family gatherings.

The Manitou Art Center, AKA MAC, in Manitou Springs offers monthly art rental space for artists to create, they also have galleries offering the artist a space to sell their creations.

UCCS has a large art program but also has the ENT Center for the Arts, a contemporary art gallery, and an “Art without Limits” gallery where they offer temporary space to arts whose work is too large to find into the traditional walls of a gallery. The shopping center across from the university has a walk of student art that is fantastic to see.
