Today we have a Steinway S piano, and it was made in the year 2000 in New York, and it is a kind of debunking my whole Mason and Hamlin thing that I talk about all the time!
So Mason & Hamlin is my favorite piano brand. I talk about them all the time, but I hate to say it! This Steinway S is probably the best five foot one piano we've ever had through our doors! It sounds amazing guys! This is such an awesome instrument, this is a crown jewel collection version, so what that means is this is they pick this veneer from Steinway's top tier veneer. This is this is a kind of like an upgrade, think like an Eddie Bauer feature or something like that, and then they do this nice kind of French polish finish over the veneer, so it looks stunning too!

The finish itself is in really really good condition, we did buff it all out. On the fall board there's a little scratch on it that we just couldn't get out, but other than that the thing is really clean and it looks amazing!

This Steinway model S sounds amazing... We have so much power down here in the base, way more power than I've had in literally any other five foot one piano, we've had it definitely has that typical Steinway sound, it's kind of percussive we got a little of grout on the base and the treble is super bell-like, it's just an awesome instrument. There're no cracks in the soundboard bridge or pin block, so the mechanics of everything check out perfectly...

As you can see inside the piano; it's all original there's not much to see here because we didn't rebuild this piano, it didn't need it, it's only from the year 2000, but it does have the Steinway accelerated action in it, which is what everybody is going after when they're buying Steinway & Sons pianos is that kind of lightning fast, powerful action, and everything is perfectly aligned. We've done a regulation and voicing on the piano as well as a tuning... So this Steinway & sons piano model S is just ready to go!
