From my recent debate with vegan advocate Matt Nagra. Out of all of the dozens if not hundreds of near miraculous improvements and recoveries that were found in the carnivore diet study done at Harvard he decided to ignore all of these benefits and focus solely on CAC score going up in some individuals, neglecting the fact that statins also raise CAC score and is not inherently a bad thing, according to him. Additionally we don't even know if those individuals were on a statin and this was the reason their CAC score went up. After all most doctors hearing that you go on a high-fat carnivore diet lose their minds if you're not on a statin. Either way this is cherry picking from one part of the study to try and discredit the rest of the study, which doesn't negate the positive results from the rest of the outcomes, even if we want to say CAC score going up was a negative.
