"Anjali plays with the doll in which Devika is trapped and hides it when Simar calls for her. In the meantime, Devika (Patali Devi) suggests Simar to join her for prayer. On the other hand, Khushi declines Patali Devi's suggestion of killing Simar but is warned of her son getting killed. Later on, Simar falls from the stairs and the family gets concerned with her losing consciousness. On noticing oil on Simar's feet and the stairs, Mataji questions everybody as to who spilled oil. Sasural Simar Ka is the journey of an ordinary young small town girl, Simar, who has grown up with strong middle class values. Her life takes a sharp turn when her passion for dancing clashes with the conservative values of the middle class.
