Let's discuss the RPGMaker MZ sample games and why I think they weren't really all that great. Aspects of them worked, but to me a lot of it didn't, so let's chat about it!

(EDIT: An important thing to add in regards to the art is that it is in fact an “rtp” of sorts. Everything seen in the sample games can be downloaded and used in your own projects for free, so while I think that comes with a different set of issues, those are more minor and less devious than what was mentioned in the video. However, if these are supposed to just be asset packs, idk why they aren’t labeled as such. Apologies for being misinformed.)
