The Health Professions Council of SA (HPCSA) is taking a firm stand
against healthcare practitioners operating illegally.
In June, the council said it had arrested 124 fake doctors from
different provinces, within a three-year period.
HPCSA's Dr Magome Masike says the body is working with law enforcement
agencies to clean the system.
