Isaiah Thomas is an American professional basketball player and despite his short stature at 5 feet and 9 inches, he has established himself as an accomplished point guard and has achieved a number of records in the NBA so far. While he skipped the final year at college for the NBA draft, he was picked by the Sacramento Kings and played for them for three seasons before joining the Phoenix Suns. He played only a few matches for the Suns before being traded to Boston Celtics mid-season. Transfer to Boston came as a boon for him. At 5'9", Isaiah is one of the shortest players in the NBA. While he may not be the tallest player, Isaiah has proved a lot of people wrong who believed his height would prohibit him from being an NBA player. It was a big reason Isaiah was not selected until the last pick of the 2011 NBA draft by the Sacramento Kings.
