Kiss live at the Fairgrounds Pavilion, Tulsa, Oklahoma, June 13th 1975, ''They are Dressed to Kill'' tour
Well, yesterday I opened up my computer, logged in Youtube and guess what?! There were 300 subscribers on my channel! More than 100.000 views and that many people following Kiss live just make me quite happy, and I want to first thank you and second honor you with this special upload! A soundboard (!!) recording of Tulsa '75, a fantastic fucking show! :DDDD
Alright! Do you remember that whole ''you wanted the best'' Kiss usually asks you? Well, this is the FUCKING BEST! The audio quality and the performances are so freaking amazing that I continued jumping for an hour after the show had ended!
With that amazing initial chords from Deuce Kiss grabbs the audience even before 'Alive!', and, in my opinion, this recording is the predecessor of Alive's success, and also one of its reasons! Since Alive has been edited, I very much prefer to listen to this recording, sort of as an unofficial release
Moving on, Strutter is amazing! Paul's voice is flawless, and it's quite noticiable some delay on both Paul and Gene's mikes, mainly on Gene's; The HTH (Got to Choose & Hotter than hell) tracks that follow are simply flawless and I LOVE the direct transition from HTH to Firehouse! She, that was now finished and released on the album, sounded great, but the best is that Ace guitar solo that follows, fucking perfect!
C'mon and Love Me is quite flawless, very studio-like, unlike 100.000 years, which is just a blast, especially when added to that Peter's drum solo and Paul's ad-libbing; The performances of Black Diamond of this era were fucking amazing, like it was brand-new every time it was played; After obvious disappointment on their leaving, Kiss comes back for more, with a strange encore of Cold Gin, still awesome, and that yet-to-be usual finale, Rock and Roll All Nite, that, since it was unknown (Funny to think that, huh?) was quite short, still, full of energy; I hope you LOVE it as much as I did, and thanks again friends for the support! :D
