Creating a cottagecore themed island from scratch can often be overwhelming for beginners. In this video I try to break down some of the key elements that I hope will be useful for you.

0:22 - Tip#1 - Terraforming - Avoid straight lines and go for natural looks. Create secret little areas and nooks.
1:19 - Tip#2 - Items. Make sure you go for items your grandma would think is cute. Lots of brown/olive/white colored items.
2:02 - Tip #3 - Lots of custom paths. These help fill up the empty space on your island.
2:55 - Tip #4 - Lots of flowers. Take time to find some combinations that you like and are cohesive.
3:42 - TIp #5 - Experiment and have fun. Don't be hard on yourself. Don't restart your island. It's a marathon not a sprint.
