In this video, I review Dr. Mac Lee's incredibly informative book "the Life Robbing Pain of TMD - Why Me?" This book is simply packed with information of the common signs and symptoms of TMD, causes of TMD, and more! One of the things I love most about this book is that it has clear images and diagrams that show the anatomy of the jaw joint and exactly what's happening when there are jaw joint noises or dysfunction in the jaw. If you're new to learning about TMD, I'd highly recommend this book.
If you're unfamiliar with TMJD, common symptoms include: jaw joint noises - clicking, popping, crackling, snapping, episodes of the jaw locking, headaches, jaw pain, tooth pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, specific tooth pain, ear pain, vertigo, stuffy ears, and MORE!
