Here you'll see a head-on view of a Turkish Airlines Boeing 737-8F2 (B738) make an aborted landing due to strong winds, dangerous gusts and windshear. The 737 was on fairly short final for runway 15 at Birmingham International Airport (EGBB/BHX), but suddenly the wind got behind them and the increase in airspeed swept the aircraft up, forcing a go around. Good decision by the pilots. As you'll see they landed safely on the second attempt.

Wind Reports: 210 degrees at 17 knots, gusting 31 knots.

This was filmed on the day of the Biman Bangladesh DC10 flights, the 22nd February 2014. I had had my flight on the DC10, and now while my mate was on his flight my Dad and I went off to film his flight, and I managed to catch this go around while waiting!
