This is a 4K upscale of the Klendathu Drop scene in the original 1988 anime adaptation of Starship Troopers, this original version is a little more accurate to the book than the 1997 movie, it includes a very accurate depiction of the Mobile Infantry's power armour and how they drop from orbit. I think a lot of fans of the book will really appreciate this version of the story.
The footage was taken from a rip of a LaserDisc, the original was in 480i and was upscaled to 2160p with the Topaz Video Enhance AI.
You can find the full episodes of this series on my channel although only the first two episodes have been upscaled to 4K, the rest are in 1080p because of how long it takes to upscale the video to Ultra HD.
