Between the 18th and 21st January 2021, our Education Officers were busy travelling to schools around the Ribble Catchment (and beyond) to make sure that everyone had their trout eggs in preparation for TIC2021. They visited ten schools in total and, at each school, delivered a presentation to introduce the project and help the pupils get the most out of it. They covered many topics, including how the equipment works, when their trout will hatch and what predators they could face in the wild. Each of these presentations was recorded so that we can put something together for all the pupils who are learning from home, ensuring that nobody misses out on the trout experience.
