(19 May 2018) The parents of one of the 12 victims of the shooting at Aurora in Colorado arrived in Santa Fe, Texas, to help comfort victims, prepare them for what's ahead, and to advocate for gun control.
Ten people were killed and 10 were injured at a high school in Santa Fe on Friday when a student opened fire.
The suspect is 17-year-old Dimitrios Pagourtzis.
Lonnie and Sandy Phillips' daughter, Jessi Ghawi, died in the shooting on 20 April 2012.
The latest shooting is their ninth shooting, including the one in Colorado where they lost their daughter.
The Phillips filed a lawsuit against an online company which sold the ammunition to gunman James Holmes, which was thrown out by a judge.
