Here's a clip of some long range flying at Lake Shastina. Lake Shastina is a man made reservoir with a bumpy history dating back to the turn of the 20th century. The Dwinnell Dam was constructed in the 1920s. The dam construction was successful but the reservoir had issues with leaks and then later drought. You can see most of the area that was lake is now empty. There are usually cows grazing out in the middle the grass fields. When the reservoir was leaking rapidly through faults and crevices and they moved earth to cover up the larger cracks. You can see these features all over the area now that the water level is so low. The first minute of this is sped up. The last hill is over two miles out.
