In the Philippines, they call whelks ( Sea Snails) Suso, AniniKad, or Kinhason. This video will show you how to make a very easy simple yet delicious Suso recipe, Aninikad recipe and Kinhason recipe cooked in 15 minutes. In France where we now reside whelks are called Bulots.
In the supermarkets in France you can either buy sea snails all ready cooked or alive as was the case in this video to enable us to show you how to clean and cook sea snails.
We enjoy eating whelks ( Sea snails ) every month along with a few hundred grams of cooked prawns and a couple of slices of brown bread with butter.
