Tate's Hell State Forest and first paddling trip to the Upper Sopchoppy. It was a beautiful mistake - we meant to do a one way trip, but ended up turned around and instead enjoyed a wonderful out and back trip through canopied trees with shallow tannin/clear water and beautiful sugar sand beaches. Strange sightings and newly learned fact: butterflies eat not only nectar, but feast on rotted, decaying corpuses. Once back at camp, the skies opened up (briefly) where we finished the day off with Flo's fire-popped pop corn and a nice, warm fire on a hot, hot day!
