Feta & Tomato Bruschetta | Quick and Easy Italian Bruschetta Recipe
Feta and tomato Bruschetta - It is one of those perfect foods. It is healthy, quick, versatile and inexpensive to make. It can be eaten as an appetizer or as an entire meal.
Prep time - 10 mins
Cooking time - 5 mins
Total time - 15 mins
Yield 1-2 servings
Ingredients
2tbsp olive oil
5 slices French bread (1 inch thick)
1 package (4 ounces) crumbled feta cheese
1 teaspoon dried herbs
10-12 cherry tomatoes
2tbsp pesto
2tbsp mayonnaise
Parmesan cheese for garnish
Directions
Toast the bread over medium flame for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned on top.
Toss the cherry tomatoes on a high flame for 2-3 minutes.
Spread the pesto and mayonnaise over the toast.
Top with tomatoes.
Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese and toast on a low flame for another 3-5 minutes.
Garnish with some feta crumble and serve warm.
