Life Of Agony, a cornerstone in the alternative metal scene, has a rich history that spans over three decades. Formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 1989, the band quickly gained recognition with their emotionally charged lyrics, unique sound, and powerful live performances.

Their debut album, "River Runs Red," released in 1993, is often hailed as a masterpiece, marking the beginning of their impactful journey in the metal world. This year, we celebrate 31 years since this groundbreaking album was released. It was just a year later, in 1994, that Life Of Agony first brought their intense live shows to Europe, winning over countless fans with their raw energy and authentic performances.

The band's sophomore album, "Ugly," released in 1995, continued to build on their success, offering deeply personal themes and a heavier, more refined sound. These first two albums remain fan favorites and were prominently featured in their setlist at the Wizemann.

On July 7, 2024, Life Of Agony delivered an unforgettable performance at a sold-out Wizemann in Stuttgart. The band played every hit, focusing on tracks from "River Runs Red" and "Ugly," driving the crowd wild with their explosive sound and passionate delivery. This concert was a special tribute to Lou Koller, the lead singer of Sick Of It All, who is currently battling cancer.
