When making a trip to Nova Scotia, checking out the coast is a must including stops in both Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg. Peggy's Cove is a small fishing village not far from Halifax which is very scenic for landscape photography along the Atlantic Ocean including the photogenic Peggy's Cove Lighthouse, one of the most photographed lighthouses in Canada. Lunenburg is another great travel destination along the Nova Scotia coast. As a UNESCO heritage site, Lunenburg is rich in its maritime history as you can see many schooners (I'm aware I pronounced the word "schooner" incorrectly until I correct myself later) in the harbour. Both the Bluenose (now defunct) and the Bluenose II were built in Lunenburg. Although I was not able to see the Bluenose II in port at Lunenburg, I was able to see it (and board it) a couple weeks later at the Bay City Tall Ships Celebration in my home state of Michigan. I include this experience in this video as well. I conclude the video over at Hirtle's Beach (not too far away from Lunenburg) along the Atlantic Ocean.
