The Department of Public Works has paved at least 40 miles of county-owned roadway annually for the past seven years, and its crews are well on their way to making it an eighth straight year.
So far this year, the department has paved sections of Blackburn Road in Sewickley Heights, Campbells Run Road in Robinson and Collier, Delafield Road and Dorseyville Road in Fox Chapel and O’Hara, Drake Road in Bethel Park and Upper St. Clair, Fairhaven Road and Pine Hollow Road in Kennedy, Imperial-Burgettstown/Robinson Road in Findlay, Lincoln Road and Universal Road in Penn Hills, Maple Springs Drive in South Park, Monongahela & Elizabeth/Warren Hill/Williamsport Road in Forward, and Saunders Station Road in Monroeville. And there are still plenty more roadways on our to-do list for this year’s construction season.
