History of this timeline
When England Refuses to cede territory to France in 1445 France invades Normandy initially France is very successful taking over most of Normandy in just a week however the fort located in Caun remained under siege and France was unable to penetrate its defenses while this happens in Normandy England rallies a army in Calais however the force is much smaller then expected with a mere 6000 compared to the 12000 expected the army stays in Calais to build up its forces France locates the army and sends a army of 15000 to destroy the English army yet France overestimates its ability’s and underestimates the English army the french lines were sloppy troops under disciplined the reason for this is because France figured the war was basically over but when the french army attacked the English at Calais the french were obliterated 7000 french soldiers died 2000 french soldiers deserted and the french general died in the chaos where as England lost merely 1000 menthe English then launched an assault on Paris and took the under prepared french defenders Paris falls and the king of France is captured the duchy of burgundy then declares itself independent from France England then demands the remaining nobles of southern France to surrender to English rule yet the duke of Provence and the counts of octtanie refuse England is forced to not enforce their rule because they do not want to overextend king Henry the 5th then declares the formation of the English Empire
