Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is visiting several critical early primary and caucus states in the lead up to a likely presidential campaign announcement.[0] His recent stops include Iowa and Nevada last week, with a stop in South Carolina likely in the coming weeks.[1] He will headline the New Hampshire GOP's April 14 “Amos Tuck" fundraising dinner and the Midland County Republican Party's April 6 Dave Camp Spring Breakfast.[2] DeSantis has discussed right-wing culture war issues and criticized Anthony Fauci during his visits.[2] Polls in New Hampshire and Iowa have DeSantis and former President Donald Trump running well ahead of other potential GOP hopefuls, including New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu, who is also considering a presidential run.[3] Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is slated to speak at an event in New Hampshire later this month.[4]
