Rust-Oleum® Concrete Etch prepares bare concrete floors for coating or staining. This citric-acid-based formula is easy and safe to use on indoor and outdoor concrete floors. It opens up tiny pores within the concrete to allow for maximum penetration and adhesion.
You'll want the floor to be wet when you start the etching process, but it's important to avoid any puddles or standing water.
Working in sections, sprinkle the concrete etch mixture on the floor. Use a scrub brush and some elbow grease to work it into the surface, while keeping the surface wet.
After the concrete etch solution is worked into the surface, thoroughly rinse each section of the floor and squeegee any excess water off the floor.
