We've never camped on board before, but it makes ferry crossings a lot cheaper between Italy and Greece, especially if you have a pampered pooch like Charlie who you don't want to put in kennels. We're on board and hooked-up on the Superfast II ferry between Bari and Patras, leaving in a couple of hours for an 18 hours crossing! Update: we had a fantastic crossing, chatting with fellow on-boarders for a few hours before getting a good night's sleep. Being able to look straight out of the van window across the Adriatic in the morning was priceless.
