The Official Prince Podcast is back with a new 8-part audio documentary series "The Story of Sign O' The Times," produced with 89.3 The Current. Hear the story of how Prince wrote and recorded enough material to release at least five separate albums, broke up his band, broke off his first engagement, and came out on the other side with his two-disc opus Sign O' The Times — a generation-defining album about pandemics, political tension, and the limitless possibilities of Black artistic expression.

The first episode, "It's Gonna Be a Beautiful Night," brings you into the studio with The Revolution, Eric Leeds, Atlanta Bliss, and Susan Rogers during Prince's exploratory Dream Factory period. The episode features exclusive previews of the vault tracks "Power Fantastic," "All My Dreams," "In a Large Room with No Light," "Visions" (a solo piano performance by Lisa Coleman), and "Colors," a solo guitar performance by Wendy Melvoin.
