U.S. Army and Polish soldiers worked together during the Borsuk 2022 multinational live-fire exercise in Nowa Deba, Poland. The two infantry divisions worked proudly with other NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces.  

 

The United States Army has over 50,000 troops in Europe right now, performing three missions: 

First, we are deterring aggression against NATO territory 

Second, we are reassuring our NATO Allies 

And third, we are standing in support of Ukraine as it defends itself against the Russian invasion 

  

U.S. soldiers are all over Europe under the command of V Corps, and that includes countries like Germany, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, as well as the Baltics.
