Green Bay is a city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It's at the southern end of Green Bay, an arm of Lake Michigan. Lambeau Field is the home of the Green Bay Packers football team and the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.
The city is famous for its National Football League team, the Green Bay Packers (founded 1919; since 1923 owned by a private nonprofit organization consisting of its fans), which plays its home games at Lambeau Field (opened 1957).
