Hello there!
In this video I will guide you through one of my favorite setup for creating ambient foundations or soundscapes.
The process to me is very simple and straightforward, as usual I like an hands on approach. Im using the Synthsrtom Deluge as a sequencer for the Novation Peak. Then using sends on the Playdifferently Model1 I add ambience effects: Hologram Microcosm, Death by Audio Rooms Benidub Echo and Eventide Space. Plus a mighty Roland Space echo Re-201.
The last step is to record onto tape with a Revox B77 MKIII and then slow it down.
Until this point is a full analog realm process, using only hardware instruments. From this I will record the tape machine out in Ableton Live 11 and do mastering.

Usually the result is the foundation for an ambient track, I like to add some more instruments or field recordings to add more layers to the composition.
