This week we head up to Fort Mountain State Park in Chatsworth, Georgia. Come with us to see what this GA State Park has to offer. Campground review, hiking, visits to nearby Ellijay, and much more. Fort Mountain is famous for an ancient stone wall built 1500 years ago by early Indians, a stone tower built by the CCC in the 1930's, a scenic mountain lake, and fabulous overlooks of the Cohutta Wilderness National Forest. We always love camping, hiking, kayaking, and otherwise enjoying the Georgia State Parks - let's see how we like this one!!
