When you go in for an interview, it shouldn’t surprise you when you get questions about your past jobs. You need to be ready to answer common interview questions such as, “What do you like least about your current/last job?” Employers want to find out what professional values you possess, so your answer shouldn’t focus on anything petty, such as a fight you had with coworkers.
Perhaps the position didn’t challenge you or offer enough growth. No matter what you liked least about your job, try to tie it back to the job you are interviewing for now. For example, if you felt you weren’t challenged enough at your last job, mention why you think this new position will be a better use of your skills. Focusing on how the new job is a good fit for you will help show hiring managers you are a strong candidate.
