Paul's bassline illustrates his creativity and good use of the fretboard for notes 'up high' and then going to 'down low'. Really a great example of a rhythmic bassline.

My bass is a vintage Rickenbacker 4001 bass manufactured in May 1973 with its original pickups.
The bridge pickup is covered up with a custom made gold plated cover to 'cover up' the hole surrounding the bridge pickup, and this is just to look nice.

Bass pickup volume at 8, Treble volume at full; and the Treble tone is at 5, while the strings are new DR HI-BEAMS 45 -105 roundwound strings, and the bass is playing through a Marshall B25 MK-2 amplifier with no additional pre-amp nor sound effects. The Tone Controls on Marshall amp: Bass is at 3 o'clock, Mid 3 o'clock, Treble at 3 o'clock.
