Ex-Professional Cyclist Simon Richardson conducts his own experiment to find out the difference between Shimano's shallow and deep section wheels on climbs.
Simon headed to the Coll De Rates, Alicante, Spain. This has an average gradient of 5.6% over a length of 6.5km. Simon rode at 325watts on the powermeter to ensure the results were valid. Find out the results were at the end of this video.
