Jaya means Victory (celebration, praise).
Shiva means Divine (The one who is eternal, higher consciousness)
Shambho means The One who gives joy (compassion)
Maha means The Great
Deva usually means God
Hare means The One who destroys sins
"Glory to the Great Shiva!"
"Glory to The One, who gives joy and compassion that lives in our hearts!"
When we repeat Shiva mantras with good intention, it enlightens our consciousness, gives wisdom, opens compassion, harmony, removes obstacles for our inner growth and transformation.
