ALOPECIA UNVEILED: NUTRITIONAL DEFICIENCIES AND INFLAMMATORY FACTORS EXPOSED!
The next form of alopecia is what I refer to as nutritional alopecia. Technically, nutritional alopecia is not a medical term, but it is a type of hair loss that affects approximately 80% of the individuals I see. This condition is often associated with deficiencies in zinc, ferritin, vitamin D3, or folate. When dealing with these nutritional deficiencies, they can lead to nutritional alopecia, which causes diffuse thinning throughout the entire scalp.
Now, the third category of alopecia is inflammatory alopecia. These are typically the more common types of alopecia that people refer to when they say they have alopecia. They may have been diagnosed by a dermatologist or have come to understand that they are dealing with this condition.
