With 6 videos leading up to this final result, I decided to do one long video describing the various stages of the project, to spare you the pain of having to see them all.
The project started with a simple suggestion that I would consider designing a tube tester for the tubes that are most common in the German tube radios that I restore. That gained quite a body of support, and so I set off to try it.
Here is the result after a few design changes, and with some options having clearly pleased some, while not all.
This project is meant to be an ongoing prototype, so I am confident that it will be revisited in the future.

IF YOU WANT TO BUILD IT YOURSELF ...
Below are various links to pertinent information, including a Google Drive folder that has all the info on the project in support of the video series. Feel free to download it and use it for your personal builds, but please note that I won't be able to provide too much further help with building your project, as time is always scarce.
This project is definitely not for beginners, so only embark on it if you are confident that you can do so safely. If you do, you are obviously doing so at your own risk.
The PCB's can be ordered directly from PCBWay via the link below. If you prefer, you can use the Gerber files included in the info folder to produce your PCB's elsewhere.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The initial schematic showed Q3 as a BC547, but it is in fact a 2N3904. These two transistors have opposite pinouts, so be careful. The PCB is correct for the 2N3904.
