Then, #craigcounsell made the controversial decision to remove him with a no-no intact. #kap says it wasn’t all that controversial because he was at 95 pitches. The eye should be on the long term prize with Shota and the #cubs who should be thinking contention immediately again in 2025.
The offense had a great day with big games from #dansbyswanson #codybellinger and others as the offense got back on track.
