During their performance at The Capitol Theatre, Mt. Joy sent a nod to the Grateful Dead by covering "Fire on the Mountain." It's no secret that the venue and the Dead have historic ties and the purity, passion, musicianship, and fearlessness that allowed The Dead to push the improvisational boundaries of music still have roots within its halls and upon its stage. With performances like Mt. Joy's, it's clear those roots continue to bloom.
