This method has saved me time and time again when I feel like there is nothing cute to wear in my closet! It's the best way to shop your closet and fall in love with pieces all over again.
Step 1 is to start with a HERO piece. A hero piece is the statement piece in your outfit (this is a bold piece, not a white t-shirt). Then you look in your closet and find pieces that work with the hero. (I use hair and makeup as an accessory)
Step 2 is building a catalog that is similar to a recipe book. Take a photo of the outfit that you like after having put it together and whenever you feel like not going through step 1 you can just use the outfit that you have in the photos.
