Airbnb just announced the biggest platform update in this DECADE. I am very excited about these new features both as an Airbnb Superhost as well as an Airbnb guest when I travel.

I really like this update for the Airbnb platform especially as they are getting more and more competition from VRBO. The main updates are as follows...

56 new categories to list an Airbnb under. This is going to allow more Airbnb hosts to be unique and gain exposure.

There will also be now something referred to as "split stays." This will allow Airbnb guests to book multiple Airbnb places during a longer stay.

Lastly, they updated their 1 million dollar insurance plan that they have for Airbnb hosts is now also available to Airbnb guests. This is going to solve a lot of issues when it comes to bookings.
