Surprised it took me this long to tackle this iconic tune. The first solo wasn’t recorded by Matt but by the producer Jason Suecof, being in a totally different style to Matt or Corey, which is why Matt never plays it properly live. There’s some crazy parts and this is a close as I can get.

Corey’s solo is bonkers, super speedy parts… in between the diminished sweep parts at the end of the solo I had trouble figuring out some of the notes going on in between some of the sweeps but this is as close as I could get.
The parts are quite tricky to get down tight. There’s a little diminished run that plays at the end of the choruses, neither Matt or Corey play it live and understandably because it’s a very quick run to nail and go straight into the next riffs without a hitch.
