It's amazing, yet not unheard of, as to how when a person is unable to accept the consequences of their actions, they make up their own theories as to why something bad happened. Crimson One single mindedly blames Monarch, the mercenaries and the Independence Force for the second calamity. Not accepting that the cordium beneath the Earth chain reacted to the Cordium warheads he launched, he believes the current state of things to be the result of some form of counterstrike. The logic behind his thinking? None whatsoever.
