Samsung's new sensor technology allows you to record a whopping 1000 fps (Frame Per Second) HD videos. This is not a new thing for us because Huawei, Sony Xperia and Xiaomi smartphones were already had this mode before. Samsung Galaxy Note20, s21, S22, S22+ and Ultra series can capture slow-motion videos at 960fps. This 50mpixel main sensor also can get 8K 30fps, 4K@60fps, 1080P@240fps/480fps and 720P@ 960fps.
For super slow motion mode (960fps) you have limited to capture only 1 second, because 1 second slow motion will end up being 45 second long when you watch it in slow motion mode. This limit is basically to avoid taking to much space in your phone. There is also a motion activation feature that allows you to automatically start recording without touching the shutter button. You can custom set a track point in your frame to detect the motion. In the second part of the video I included 480fps (1080p) mode at the end of the video which has no recording limit also has better resolution. While super slow motion captures 1280x720p HD videos, regular slow motion mode records 1920x1080 Full HD.
