This Town Hall will introduce viewers to the SVS’s first Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC), on the topic of Intermittent Claudication. The faculty introduce attendees to the concept of appropriateness, how the SVS Claudication AUC was created, how AUCs differ from clinical practice guidelines, and how each can be applied to clinical practice. The faculty present a brief summary of the results of the AUC, with full results being published in an upcoming issue of JVS.
