The petitions are seeking a court-monitored investigation into the allegations made by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu. He claims that animal fat and fish oil are being used in the preparation of laddus at the Tirupati temple. Meanwhile, a state government society is in Tirupati to inspect the quality of the prasadam and the ghee used in the laddus.
